Photos taken by Russel Stothard (NHM) during the fieldwork trip in Uganda in October 2006.
The objective of the field work was to conduct pilot parasitological survey/malacological collecting trips:
visiting island habitats in Lake Victoria for Biomphalaria,
visiting Apac and Lira districts surrounding Lake Kwania/Kyoga,
to retrieve isolates of S. mansoni and S. haematobium,
to collect populations of Lymnaea, Biomphalaria & Bulinus.
